    I used to think the US was wrong for the Japanese city bombings until I learned about the Rape of Nanking

    During WWII, The Japanese invaded the Chinese city of Nanking. They massacred over 300,000 innocents. Even more disturbing is what they did to the women. They raped women of all ages from young girls to the elderly. After brutally gang raping them, they stuck their bayonets(gun knives) inside of them and left them to die. They ended up raping about 20,000 girls. They also forced families to commit incest, after which they would massacre them as well. I’m sorry for the innocent Japanese that were killed in the Nagasaki/Hiroshima bombings. But as evil as Japan was, fair is fair. I’m scared to think of what would have happened if the Japanese hadn’t been stopped by those bombs. I bet even more innocent people would have lost their lives. I guess extreme retaliation is necessary to end an evil of that kind.
